We pride ourselves in raising our puppies the best we can to prepare them for the transition to new families and homes. We have a well put together socialisation programme that starts when puppies reach 3 weeks of age.
Our program includes lots of different toys with a variety of colours/ sounds/ textures and shapes, we ensure the toys are alternated regularly. As well as many toy options we introduce different textures for the puppies to move around on and explore.
Different safe levels are introduced slowly to help puppies get used to stepping up and down from different heights. Wobble boards are used to mimic car travel and get the puppies used to the jelly leg experience while traveling. Also with tunnels to run through and slides to side down, our puppies don't miss out on much.
Along side all these fun activities we introduce sounds, starting with your everyday household sounds such as washing machines/ hoovers/ dishwasher/ tv/ radio and of cause children. We then play YouTube clips while puppies are in a positive mind set so not to scare them, these sounds include sirens/ fire works/ thunder/ gun sounds/ crowds and many more.
All our puppies interact with a range of ages and we put special effort into making sure they are comfortable with young children.
When puppies are between 6-8 weeks old we introduce them to the car, we start slow with them just sitting in their crate with the engine running, we do this until they are relaxed and ready to go on small road trips to get them ready for their vet visit.
Lastly we are lucky to have some fabulous family dogs that enjoy socialising with the puppies and teaching them doggy etiquette safely so not to scare them.
All our puppies are regularly wormed from 2/4/6 and 8 weeks. At 8 weeks they then have their vet check and first vaccinations ready to leave for their new adventures.
Puppies are microchipped my myself a licensed implanter with animal tracker between 6-8 weeks and transfer of ownership is completed on day of collection.
